The Benton Central Supermileage team works towards a goal of achieving the highest fuel economy possible under a set of restrictions. The event is sanctioned by the Indiana Super Mileage Committee. Prior to competition the team must submit a design proposal and safety plan. This challenge provides opportunities in developing teamwork, problem solving, design, fabrication, web development, and business planning.
